Council welcomes planning proposals for growth in Nowra
The NSW Government has released details of its Nowra City Centre Strategic Roadmap and placed two important rezoning proposals within the Nowra Riverfront Precinct on public exhibition for community feedback.
The roadmap sets out a blueprint for long-term growth in the city’s CBD while the rezoning proposals along the riverfront have the potential to unlock more than 900 new homes, including renewed social and affordable housing.

Berry Hotel DA
Feros intends to relodge a DA for the Hotel, based on a 20-room smaller accommodation building, no extension into the grounds of the old CBC bank building and a reduction in alterations within the Hotel building.
Onsite parking for the Hotel proposal is still a major issue. Feros have proposed a total of 22 parking spaces for a maximum of 354 patrons compared to the 92 required based on its own survey results.
