Minutes for the Berry Forum Committee Meeting

Present: Laurie Watson (Chair), Stuart Coughlan (Secretary), Judith Ball, John Morgan, Peter Saul, Mary Beare, Keith Brodie and Emanuele Rattazz

Minutes of Meeting held on 3 November 2025: Approved
Berry Hotel – Stuart, Emanuele, Peter and Keith attended the information drop-in session. Parking is still a key issue if Feros do not change their methodology for calculating the number of parking spaces requires and availability of street parking.
Forum meeting conduct – Meeting attendees to be asked to confirm agreement to meeting rules.

Council updates
- New Code of Meeting Practice on public exhibition until 12 December. Noted
- Planning proposals for growth in Nowra. Noted
Berry Flood Action – Members of the Flood Plain Management Group of Council to be invited to speak at the first Forum Meeting in February about the Broughton Creek Flood Study and next steps.
Facebook – The Forum has a Facebook page, but the administrative access is unknown.
Draft DCP and HCA – Awaiting Council feedback on any changes following public exhibition
