Council has received a proposal to rezone 15ha of land south of Hitchcocks Lane (part of Graham Park) from rural to residential and to modify the minimum lot size to 500m2, consistent with Huntingdale Estate. The statement in the Proposal that the land owners consulted with the Berry Forum and provided a concept plan detailing the Planning Proposal is incorrect. The land owners provided just a one page map showing the subject land area shaded and sought input from the Forum Committee. We declined and advised that our role is to inform the community, seek its views and advise Council. We will update the community with details and progress of the proposal and provide community feedback to Council.
